My fellow citizens,
Here the problems start already – are you really my fellow citizens? Am I your fellow citizen? Although I’m a holder of a Dutch and therefore an EU-passport, I have lived in the US since 1995. Do I still count as a European? As I have said on prior occasions, I only started to feel like a European after I left the continent.
